Sunday, November 10, 2024 • 9 Cheshvan 5785
10:00 AM - 11:30 AMTemple Israel’s Brotherhood is honored to welcome award-winning author, political analyst, documentary filmmaker, columnist, television producer and radio host Jonathan Alter as our Brotherhood Breakfast speaker. He will be talking to us about his great career and, of course, the results of the elections five days earlier. A former senior editor and columnist at Newsweek for many years, Jonathan is a longtime political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. He co-produced and co-directed the HBO documentary “Breslin and Hamill: Deadline Artists,” which won the 2020 Emmy for Outstanding Historical Documentary. Jonathan’s previous books include The Defining Moment: FDR’s Hundred Days and the Triumph of Hope (2006), The Promise: President Obama, Year One (2010), The Center Holds: Obama and His Enemies (2013) and His Very Best: Jimmy Carter, a Life (2020). His new book, to be published October 22nd is American Reckoning – Inside Trump’s Trial and My Own, an inside account of the Trump felony trial as one of the select reporters permitted to cover it.
Following our regular Brotherhood Breakfast interview and Q&A session, Jonathan will be pleased to sign any of his books for attendees. You can obtain them at bookstores, on Amazon, eBay or other outlets.
Sorry, Registration has ended.
