Rise Against Hunger

9:30 AM - 11:15 AM

CJL families (K- 5) are invited to join us in our Mitzvah Morning during which we have partnered with Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world's most vulnerable people. 

We will gather on this Mitzvah Morning, to pack over 1,000 meals which will be delivered to people in famine and disaster conditions. We ask that parents/caregivers join us in this morning event to help our students fulfill the mitzvah of feeding the hungry and to help us provide the necessary conditions for the event.  

PLEASE NOTE the later start time of 9:30 AM and that this is not a student drop-off CJL morning.

We need 3 – 5 parent/teen volunteers before the event at 8:00 AM and after the event to take down tables and clean up.  If you can volunteer, please contact Amanda Rissman, our Administrative Assistant.
