An Introduction to Temple Israel
A note from TEMPLE President, Ed Ginsberg
I am happy to hear of your interest in becoming a member of Temple Israel of Northern Westchester. Our vibrant and diverse synagogue family invites you to experience the spirit, warmth and comfort that makes our community so special. Whether you’re seeking a connection with a Jewish community, Jewish education for yourself or your family, or to explore or deepen your connection to Jewish life, Temple Israel is a place you can call home. All are welcome here.
Temple Israel is people and family focused and we welcome the opportunity to connect with you. Our Center for Jewish Learning (CJL), Confirmation Class, Hebrew High School, Youth Groups, Torah Study, Adult Education and B'nai Mitzvah programs, Brotherhood, Sisterhood and our outstanding and varied music programs offer something for every interest and every generation. They allow our members to learn, engage and form the bonds of friendship at every age.
Our Shabbat services are a great way to make the transition from work to weekend. The evening service is held every Friday with varying times for adult services, family services, Kabbalat Shabbat and Tot Programs (see the complete schedule.) You’ll find our services joyous and comfortable and our choir inspiring.
Come join Temple Israel for community involvement, education, religious awareness, youth programs or just because it feels right. Our Rabbis, Cantors and I extend an invitation to you. Please feel free to call us at 914.271.4705 or email me at ed@tinw.org with any questions or comments. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Ed Ginsberg
Temple President
