Ritual Committee
Ritual Committee
The Temple Israel Ritual Committee strives to make Jewish ritual relevant, innovative and inviting for all members of the congregation. The Ritual Committee serves as an advisory committee to our clergy, provides opportunities for congregants to participate in bimah rituals, and creates various ways to enjoy ritual based upon congregants’ interests. We also publish a Ritual Committee Blog to explore the meanings and traditions of holidays and other practices.
We encourage any and all congregants who would like to experience ritual in a particular manner to talk to the Committee about it. In addition, if you’re interested in creating ritual opportunities with our clergy, please consider joining the Ritual Committee. Please contact Cherie Marcus for more information.
